Hearts For Paws Part 2 . . .

The weather was unseasonably warm for this event.  So even though the organizers gave me a goodie bag that included sunscreen, I was not smart enought to use it.  That left me with sun poisoning and the worse sun burn that I have had in I hate to say it, but probably decades.

Fortunately for me on Sunday I went with Rich to the Lake Mathews Kennel Club.  I was miserable.  I was so lucky that my neighbor was Anne from Tiger Tail Foods.  Not only do they make they make nealthy biscotti that the girls just love, they carry Emu Oil.

And it was the Emu Oil that saved me!  I had forgotten how wonderful that Emu Oil is, and for those of you who have never tried it, you are missing out!  The Emu Oil is concentrated so I was able to put that on my burn at night.  I also got the Emu Lotion to put on during the day.  What a relief!  I do not think that I will ever go anywhere again without the Emu Lotion.  My skin did not blister, slightly peeled.  And I have to say it, my neck even looks better than before.  I think that it helped with the wrinkles on the V of my neck!

So now when you order treats for your dogs, don't forget yourself!

Wow ~ The Archstone Apartments Put On A First Class Event!

The Archstone Apartments really out did themselves with their first charity event, Hearts for Paws  for the Orange County Animal Shelter.  There is so much to say about this event and the Archstone Apartments that I am going to have to do more than one post.

The event that they put on helped with adoption of three deserving dogs.  While at the same time show casing the wonderful community that they have created.

As a vendor, I was treated extremely well.  A custom sign was made for Moe Toys, workers on golf carts helped to load and unload the merchandise, a great goodie bag with water and lots of other necessities, drink tickets and much, much more.

Trotter Lynn accompanied me to this event and she had a wonderful time visiting with the other vendors, dogs for adoption and the residents of the community.  Never before have I seen so many people happy about where they live.  Since I live with dogs and rent I would ask the residents how the liked living there and it was unanimous, they love it!  Several even took me to their apartments to show them to me.

One of the things that makes the Archstone Gateway in Orange truly pet friendly is that they have beautifully landscaped dog parks on the premises.  I wish I had a picture and Trotter wishes that she lived there!  I guess that just means that I have to go back to check them out again!
