Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Saturday, which means that he predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Woke up to a steady rain this morning so I think that he is right. So I am off to the Southern California Portugese Water Dog Club Agility Trial with my fingers crossed that I wrapped the booth tight last night . . .

I was distressed to read in the paper today that "Buckeye Chuck," a groundhog in Ohio, is at odds with Punksatawny Phil and has declared spring just around the corner. I'm torn. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but now living in Indiana. Which one should we believe? My dogs love to swim, so I'm sure they would like to see an early spring.
